Make A Difference

Work with Palmetto Animal Health Center to make a difference in a pet's life.

The Simon and Shermon Angel Fund is set up as a remembrance of two special brothers.  Simon was a 19 1/2 year old Ragdoll and his brother Shermon was a 14 year old Ragdoll when they went to Kitty Heaven.  Simon developed arthritis in his joints and received regular laser treatments in his final years to alleviate this condition.  Shermon suffered from kidney disease for 15 months before he died during which time he received fluid treatments several times a week.  Their parents spared no expenses to keep them alive and comfortable.

However, there are many ill and injured pets that do not get the care Simon and Shermon got because of the costs that their owners simply cannot afford.  This led Palmetto Animal Health Center and Simon and Shermon's parents to start the Simon and Shermon Angel Fund for the Health Center's patients who need more than their owners can give.  Medical emergencies occur without warning in a pet's life and owners may not be able to afford the expense of the treatment needed to save their  pet's life.

The goal of our Angel Fund is to provide financial support to deserving pet owners who are unable to completely pay for the critical care needs of their pets when suffering from serious illness or acute injury.  Rather than face the difficult decision of euthanasia due to hard times and tight budgets, our Angel Fund will be able to help many of these clients avoid that decision by allowing their pets to receive the medical care needed to be nursed back to health.

The fund will be totally supported by contributions from other pet owners, friends, family, and employees who want to help do the right thing.  No donation is too small.

You can help us achieve our goal by donating to this Angel Fund either by visiting the Palmetto Animal Health Center to make your donation in person or by clicking on the "Donate" button above.
